This is what I'd categorise as a "party piece", which is to say it'd be a lot of fun to see played at social gathering. Maybe it's the triple time signature? Dunno. Regardless, it's jaunty and entertaining and an all-around good time. Chaminade is underplayed in my opinion, so thank you for the post!

El F5 grabado son palabras muy mayores. Gedda lo daba y era el maullido de un gato atropellado, Pavarotti lo hacía en un vulgar falsetto, Kraus lo bajaba al E bemol 5 y era aceptable, Mateuzzi entiendo que lo grabó y también lo cantó en público pero no sonaba muy espectacular. Dicen que Lauri Volpi lo cantaba al comienzo de su carrera (debutó con I Puritani entiendo), se dice que Caruso cantó esta ópera pero recurrió siempre al falsetto a partir del C5 (muy al comienzo de su carrera cuando su voz todavía no alcanzaba acentos dramáticos, pero rápidamente la abandonó). Personalmente la voz de Florez no me simpatiza mucho (no creo que siga todavía con este repertorio).
